How to Reach Alibag from Pune

To begin, take the Mumbai-Pune Expressway from Pune and continue driving south towards Mumbai. After reaching Panvel, exit the expressway and get on the Sion-Panvel highway towards Vadkhal Naka Circle. From here, continue straight onto the NH 66 highway towards Alibag. The NH 66 passes through towns like Pen, Nagothane, and Rewas along the way.

After Rewas, a bridge crosses the Kundalika River to take you to Alibag. The total driving distance is about 140 km and it takes 3 to 4 hours to reach.

Driving is the best way to reach Alibag as it allows flexibility in stopping along the way. You also avoid having to change transport modes. The roads are in good condition making for a smooth drive. Just make sure your vehicle is serviced well and has sufficient fuel. Carry snacks and music to enjoy the journey!
